4. Making a warranty claim
To make a warranty claim, you need:
- The purchase receipt as proof of the purchase date.
- A detailed description of the fault with pictures or videos (if possible).
-
Contact the seller or manufacturer to initiate the inspection.
5. Repair or replacement
If a warranty case exists, the manufacturer or seller will, at their own discretion:
- Repair or replace the defective part.
- Provide a replacement product of equal or higher quality.
- If repair or replacement is not possible, offer a refund.
This warranty does not affect your statutory rights. Further details can be found in the individual warranty conditions of the manufacturer.
Voluntary warranty on motor and frame
In addition to the statutory warranty, WideWheelz grants a voluntary warranty on the following components:
- Frame: 3 years warranty against material and manufacturing defects.
- Motor: 3 years warranty on defects or loss of performance due to manufacturing defects.
Warranty conditions:
- The warranty applies only to the first owner and is non-transferable.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, falls, or modifications.
- The warranty claim requires valid proof of purchase and proper maintenance according to the manufacturer's instructions. (This applies to parts directly connected to the motor or frame. For example, tires do not need to be replaced by a dealer if you can do this yourself.)
In the event of a warranty claim, the manufacturer will, at its own discretion, carry out a repair or replacement of the defective part. Further information can be found in the specific warranty conditions of the manufacturer.
